Tuesday November 6th started early making a beeline to Tennessee via Atlanta for a quick lunch and visit at the Kennesaw Battlefield with our daughter Tamara and her husband Zach.

Following lunch we continued on to Nashville for the night and then on to Clarksville for a load and undload of stuff in the storage sheds, Having been on the road since August we now had a better idea of things we didn't need and things we did need. Things we picked up: a TV for outside viewing on the patio in good weather, and a 5x7 carpet I used in the foyer fits perfect in the motor home and looks great, also managed to snatch one of my Christmas wreatths for decorating for Christmas:) Couldn't reach the small Christmas tree without unloading the entire shed:( so we did not bring a tree.
Saturday morning November 10th we picked up our son's dog Ryder from the Dog Trainer. Ryder had been at "Boot Camp" since June when Rob and Pamela and the boys moved to California.

Ryder is a misunderstood Boxer with a heart of gold. He is a lover of his family and extended family. He is a terror to the UPS & Fed Ex drivers! He is also very protective of the family. This is why he was a "Boot Camp". He was to be a new dog when we picked him up. He saw me and gave me a huge hug and kisses then hopped in the back of my car and looked at the trainer....as if to say I am outa here!
We loaded up both pups hooked up the tow and hit the road to Little Rock that night at a KOA. Everything went well that first day traveling with both dogs. The next morning I am ouside with both dogs on their leashes clearing Bob as he is pulling out in the RV. Just across the road is an older gentleman with a large dog. Ryder bolts, his leash is hanging in my hand. He bolts like a greyhound towards the man and his dog, I am screaming at Ryder the old guy is trying to lift his dog into his arms and Ryder tags a sniff and turns and runs back to me. ( I guess Ryder thought it was a buddy from boot camp). The event looked scarey, and I am sure added a few gray hairs to all the humans watching, but it ended well and Ryder behaved himself the rest of the California or Bust trip:)
