Pre Paddleboarding Training, with Wyatt taking it all in:) L-R Pamela, Rob, Marcia, Wyatt, Bob Randy |
Our last weekend in Bend was the best! Our son Rob and his family made the journey from Monterey CA to join us, as well as our dear friends Marcia and Randy Bryant drove over from Portland. We had a fun packed weekend. Marcia and I became friends when we were stationed in Germany, she was Rob's kindergarten aide. We became great friends, and our families have traveled through out Europe together and shared vacations here in the States for years.
Saturday Morning following breakfast we headed to the park for the adults to paddle board while I filmed the adventure and babysat our grandson's Wyatt & Campbell. Now we all thought Bob was a pro, because he tried the paddle boarding earlier in the week with no problem. The truth is my daughter inlaw Pamela was the only one that didn't fall into the river Ha Ha, I will refrain from including the video of me laughing hysterically, as the guys all kept falling off their boards! While I was capturing the photos, Wyatt was playing in the dirt and getting so dirty:) Campbell was happy to sit in the stroller and watch the entertainment!

How cute! I know you had a wonderful time. I so remember our grandchildren when they were that age. Enjoy it now...they sure grow up fast!
ReplyDeleteSomehow I missed the last post. I LOVE fish tacos! Paddle boarding looks hard...was the water cold?
Happy Fourth of July!
